London Eye: Britain’s most popular attraction

Sea Life London Aquarium

The Sea Life London Aquarium, with more than 500 various species is London’s and Europe’s largest collection of aquatic creatures.  With over a million visitors a year it is one of the capital’s top attractions and is especially popular with kids.  It is perfectly situated on the ground floor of the County Hall, right next to the famous London Eye.  The aquarium which first opened in March 1997 reopened in April 2009 after months of major refurbishments at a total cost of £5 million under the precise supervision of architect Kay Elliott.
